From November 19 to 21, 18 Belgian companies, one university, and over 40 professionals visited Kazakhstan to explore opportunities, strengthen economic ties, and establish partnerships in many key sectors.
The mission opened on November 19 in Almaty with a seminar entitled “Doing Business in Kazakhstan,” which provided key economic, legal, and logistical insights, supported by the experience of Belgian companies already operating in the country.
On November 21, the delegation traveled to Astana for high-level B2G meetings, concluding with a reception hosted by His Excellency Eric De Meyer, the Ambassador of Belgium to Kazakhstan.
Mr. Azim Khakimov also held a number of meetings and networking opportunities with representatives of the Belgian business delegation, where they had the opportunity to learn about the business potential and investment opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Special thanks go to Ms. Aizhan Musakanova, Trade and Economic Counselor at the Embassy of Belgium in Kazakhstan.
